DESCRIPTION
Situated at the end of quiet single track highland road this spacious detached bungalow and large surrounding garden ground area provides an excellent development opportunity. The original house dates from circa. 1928 and was of corrugated iron construction and then some 30 years ago the external walls of the house were covered with breeze blocks. It has been empty for a while and may require demolition due to its structure or perhaps purchasers would wish to upgrade it or investigate the opportunity of developing the land and perhaps using the garden area to build a new house(s), subject to the usual permissions being granted. This is undoubtedly a most attractive location with views across the Glennan Burn that borders the property at the front and out over Loch Long and the surrounding mountains. The house does have solid fuel central heating running from the open fire in the sitting room and secondary glazing was fitted many years ago. The present accommodation comprises, entrance hall leading into long hallway with access off to sitting room, kitchen, lounge/dining room, bathroom and 3 bedrooms. The large garden lies mainly to the side and rear of the house and informal comments from the Planning Office have indicated their agreement to a new built house on the land.
It should be noted that substantial investment would be required to upgrade this house.
