LOCATION
Achachork is a friendly and fast expanding community located just one mile from the town of Portree, the capital of the island. It is a busy and vibrant town offering a good selection of facilities and services including supermarkets, shops, hotels, restaurants, lively bars, leisure facilities, a cottage hospital and modern medical centre and both primary and secondary schooling. Portree is some 32 miles north of the Skye Bridge connecting the Islands to the mainland (toll free) and is 15 miles south of Uig where the ferry terminus for the Western Isles is located.

Electricity and telephone close by. Mains water is close by however it is recommended that interested parties approach Scottish Water with regards to getting a connection. Drainage would be by way of septic tank.
