Proceed out the A87 Portree to Uig trunk road for approx. 3 ½ miles. Take the single track road signposted ‘Borve’ and proceed up the hill until you come to the cross roads where you then turn left. Proceed along this road for approx. ¼ mile and the site is on the right hand side of the road (there is a fence post with a white paint marking the site area).

Mains electricity and water are close by. Drainage is to be by way of septic tank.

Clawback provision – the conveyance to the successful purchaser will be a nominee conveyance by the crofting landlord at the request of the crofting tenant in terms of the Crofters (Scotland) Act 1993. The conveyance in favour of the purchaser will contain a clawback provision providing that in the event of the land being resold within 5 years of the date of purchase a sum equivalent to one half of the difference between the price paid to the crofting landlord and the retail value of the land will be paid to the landlord.
