Ferguson, MacSween & Stewart, Solicitors, evolved in the 1970s from the oldest established legal practice in Portree, on the Isle of Skye. The company also opened a second branch in Main Street, Kyle of Lochalsh in 1993 thus providing the first resident legal and property service in this area.
Throughout its history of expansion and devolution the provision of a high quality legal service has underpinned the entire organisation and this is still the case today.
The current partners are Murdo MacSween and Sorley Henderson, both based in the Portree Office.
In addition to Murdo and Sorley the Firm also has two further solicitors – Sarah Farr, based in the Portree Office and Katie MacDonald, based in the Kyle Office.
