The village of Torrin is located some 5 miles from Broadford which is the second largest settlement on the Isle of Skye and has good local services which you would expect of a thriving area, including a supermarket, petrol station and selection of small shops, hotels and restaurants. Other main services are available in Portree the capital of the Island some 25 miles north of Broadford, where the secondary school is also located. Directions

From Broadford take the B8083 and enter the village of Torrin. After passing over the cattle grid continue on the township road a short distance, passing the red post box.
