Location

Camuslongart is a beautiful part of the Highlands peacefully located by the shore of Loch Long. Facilities are available in the nearby village of Dornie including a hotel, restaurant and the breathtaking Eilean Donan Castle. The larger village of Kyle of Lochalsh is just 7 miles to the west and offers very good services including a garage, supermarket, selection of shops, medical centre and dental surgery. Kyle also has a swimming pool and gymnasium centre. The railway station provides a regular service to Inverness the capital city of the Highlands some 82 miles to the east. The Skye Bridge is located in Kyle and provides access onto the Island. Primary schooling is available at nearby Auchtertyre, with secondary schooling available at Plockton. A school transport system operates.

Directions

From the A87, take the junction for Camuslongart and follow the road towards the end. There is a house being built on the left hand side, currently with a green roof and a caravan parked in front. Loan Cottage is directly opposite down by the loch shore.
