FAQS

Whether you’re buying or selling property on the Isle of Skye and Lochalsh, we understand you may have questions.

To make your journey as smooth as possible, we’ve compiled answers to the questions we’re asked most often. From understanding the local market to navigating the buying or renting process, our goal is to provide clear, helpful information tailored to your needs.

If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to contact us – we’re here to help!

Simply give us a call or fill out the viewing request form and we will be in touch.

The best thing to do is book a valuation request which will let us know a few basic details about the property you are looking to sell and one of our friendly team will be in touch to arrange an appointment.

It means that an offer has been submitted and the sellers are happy with the offer and wish to proceed to concluded missives. At this stage the conveyancing procedure is on-going and in exceptional circumstances sales can ‘fall through’ prior to completion. Should this happen the ‘under offer’ sign will be removed from the property and it will in effect be back on the market. Once the solicitor has concluded missives the property is then considered ‘sold’ and is removed from our web site.

If a property has been very popular and we have at least two ‘notes of interest’ then we will set a date and time by which interested parties must have an offer to us for consideration by the seller.

Our sister firm FMS Law Limited deals with all aspects of property law and can help with both the buying and selling process.
